Foto Friday Numero Tres...

For all of you who do not know...my fiance Chistopher is from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.

Although his immediate family is here in Canada, the holidays tend to be a tough time for him as most of his family and childhood friends live in Venezuela. I cannot imagine what it feels like to pick up and leave your home country and the family, friends and culture that you are accustomed to.

Fortunately, we had the opportunity to go to Venezuela last year. I am so happy we were able to make that trip and I feel so priviledged to have met all of his family and friends. The culture and people are absolutely amazing!!!!!! I felt like I had been a part of his family forever. What an opportunity to meet the family, visit his childhood home, and experience the culture of the most important person in my life! It definetely won't be long until we make that trip again:)

Mi amor...te amo con todo mi corazon!!!! Tu eres mi vida:) muuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaah

Terri

Annual Girls X-MAS!!!!!

Tonight was our annual girls x-mas potluck/gift exchange!! Loads of food, laughs, conversations, gossip, and gifts.

Thinking back to some of our conversations and the gifts we were giving/receiving really makes me feel like we are all getting older:O (marriage, babies, houses, wine glasses, cork screws, etc.)

I'm grateful to have such a great group of ladies to grow older with:)

Cheers to another successful girls x-mas get-together!

xoxo

Terri

Just Fartin' Around...

Today was a rainy day...so outdoor shots were a no-go:(

My nephew Wade, thought it would be way more fun to take a trip to the Hockey Hall of Fame with Uncle Mike than stay at home and have Auntie Terri take pictures of him and his little sister...(too smart for his own good.lol).

So, instead of taking some fun outside shots I decided to fart around and edit some old ones.

Delightfully,
Terri

Foto Friday...

As promised...I am posting not one but two shots for today's foto friday:)

I must admit, I am really anxious to purchase my first DSLR camera. I have been doing a little bit of reserach and speaking with different people in my attempt to find the perfect camera!

I am also really anxious to start shooting pictures of people rather than nature and things. Don't get me wrong, I love taking shots of everything in my own creative way, but I am excited to get some people pictures under my belt:)

Today, I took a drive to the water in Pickering. Despite the freeeeezing cold weather I was able to get some nice shots. I also thought a lot today about my upcoming wedding, I can't believe it's coming up so soon (Aug 15.09)!!!! Eeeeekk...so much to do still, but I can't wait! Weddings are definetely going to be an important part of my business!

I hope to take some fun outdoor shots of my niece and nephew this weekend! Stay tuned:)

Delightfully,
Terri

Blogger Boo-Boo...

I will fully admit it, I made my first blogger boo-boo. I committed myself to posting a photo every Friday for "Foto Friday" and I didn't post anything yesterday! And it was only my 2nd official Friday:S

However, I did not want to post something just for the sake of posting something. Foto Fridays are supposed to be about something interesting, unusual, inspirational...etc. Unfortunately, my yesterday did not include any of those things.

In order to make up for this forbidden blogger carelessness, I am going to post 2 superb photos for next weeks "Foto Friday".

Shamefully,

Terri

Friends...

One of the things I love to do is catch up with friends over an appetizer and a few drinks. I had an opportunity to do that last night with one of my dearest friends Becca.

There is something to say for those few very close friends that you always feel comfortable around. Those friends that just pick up right where you left off...despite how long it has been since you last saw each other. Becca is one of those friends...thanks for being such a fantabulous person Becca!

Cheers to those few special friends!

P.S. Steph you owe us a raincheck:)

Delightfully,

Terri
